Developing a Loan Proposal

A loan proposal is what  you will need to develop and compile before presenting your business to a financial institution or lending agency.  A comprehensive loan proposal includes:

• Business plan
• Copy of Articles of Incorporation (if corporation) or Articles of Organization (if LLC) or Partnership Agreement (if a partnership)
• Certificate of Good Standing from the State for a Corporation or LLC that has been in existence for more than a year
• Copy(ies) of License(s) and/or State and Local Permit(s)
• Equipment list
• Business financial statements for the past three (3) years
• Business tax returns for the last three (3) years
• Interim financial statements
• Projected financial statements for three (3) years
• Personal financial statements from Principal(s)
• Copy of Lease Agreement (if applicable)
• Copies of Letters of Intent from suppliers, etc.
• Copy of resumes from all principal(s)
• Personal tax returns of principal(s) for the last (3) years
• Copy of contract agreements (if applicable)
