Developing a Loan Proposal
A loan proposal is what you will need to develop and compile before presenting your business to a financial institution or lending agency. A comprehensive loan proposal includes:
- Business plan
- Copy of Articles of Incorporation (if corporation) or Articles of Organization (if LLC) or Partnership Agreement (if a partnership)
- Certificate of Good Standing from the State for a Corporation or LLC that has been in existence for more than a year
- Copy(ies) of License(s) and/or State and Local Permit(s)
- Equipment list
- Business financial statements for the past three (3) years
- Business tax returns for the last three (3) years
- Interim financial statements
- Projected financial statements for three (3) years
- Personal financial statements from Principal(s)
- Copy of Lease Agreement (if applicable)
- Copies of Letters of Intent from suppliers, etc.
- Copy of resumes from all principal(s)
- Personal tax returns of principal(s) for the last (3) years
- Copy of contract agreements (if applicable)
